In Australia the fishermen were attacked by crocodiles Two best friends who are nearly 70 years catching crabs in the Northern territory of Australia when their boat pushed into the water a crocodile and overturned, resulting in drowned one of the men, reported according to CNN affiliate Seven Network.

Ray Macomber and Noel Ramig tried to get up, but the boat capsized and sank Ramage, said Jan BaА??ham, Director of CareFlight, aeromedical charity that helped save survivors.

"Crocodiles are dangerous. They are large animals, powerful animals." said Badham. The macomber eventually managed to escape in the mangroves, but had to fight with several crocodiles with a wrench and spark plugs, before to be saved.

He hit a crocodile on the head with a wrench and took the spark plugs from outboard engine boats to throw in the other crocodiles, who also attacked the boat. Badham not say exactly how many crocodiles were involved in the attack. His boat was a length of about 10 feet.

Macomber was rescued three hours later when a group of professional fishermen found 72-year-old man in mangrove trees. Badham told rescuers that rarely came out in this area, but decided to do it on a whim. They also brought the body to shore Ramage.

Badham was exhausted and suffered from the loss of a friend, he had a shock when CareFlight found him. He was taken to the hospital. Badham said that people from all over the world who are resting in remote areas of Northern Australia and have no idea what danger their because of the different animals that live in the region.

"Unfortunately, often there are various kinds of tragedy, and we remember that this is not just history," said Badham.
