Wild the murder of a girl in Pakistan caused a public outcry Savage murder of a young girl in Pakistan has caused a public outcry. 15-year-old girl was drugged, and then burned because she helped the friend to escape with his lover.

It is assumed that the crime Ambreen was heartbreaking common and fairly universal in their teenage impulse. Her actions inadvertently turned into an existential defiance of local customs and community.

Not only the death of Ambreen has caused outrage in society. The government of Pakistan continues to tolerate violence against women in the country, despite the aggressive mood of the crowd and growing discontent, which can lead to reform.

According to the latest report of the independent Commission for human rights in the country in 2015, there were more than 1,100 "honour killings". More than 900 cases of sexual violence were registered against women, as well as almost 800 women committed or attempted to commit suicide.

These cases are only the tip of the iceberg. While killing or injury in most cases are treated as serious crimes, the crimes against women that are associated with the "honor" of the family and community with impunity. The law allows the exchange of "blood money" for the family pardon some crimes, prevent police or prosecutors from taking action and saving criminals from justice. Many laws against women in Pakistan was discussed and changes made in previous parliaments.

Public and international pressure is ignored by the government of Pakistan. For example, the man was released from prison after killing his mother due to the family pardon.

In the same week, a father killed his 18-year-old daughter in Lahore after she was unable to explain where she was for five hours. In the absence of changes in the law, such crimes will continue to proliferate.

In 2016, there is no reason why the people of Pakistan, mostly women should live in fear of the savagery and brutality of honour killings.
