The Lufthansa aircraft urgently villages in new York because of a bomb threat The German authorities said that a Lufthansa aircraft was diverted to the international airport in new York because of a bomb threat.

The representative of the port Steve Coleman said that the Lufthansa plane was heading from Houston, Texas to Frankfurt, Germany, on Monday evening, when the threat was announced in the headquarters of the Corporation of the airline in Cologne, Germany.

Coleman reported that the pilot was aware of this and decided to go to another airport as a precaution. The plane was taken to a remote area of the airport where it was evacuated 530 passengers and crew.

One of the passengers reported in new York, "It's definitely weird. I fly fairly consistently over the last few years and this has never happened before." Police searched the plane. Coleman reported that nothing suspicious was found. Flight was postponed. The incident did not affect flight operations at JFK.
