McCain: Russian hackers threaten to "destroy the democracy" of the USA Senator John McCain said that Russian hackers associated with the elections threaten to "destroy democracy" and accused the us response in "complete inaction."

John McCain a Republican from Arizona, who heads the Senate Committee on armed forces, reiterated his call for a select Commission to investigate the conclusion of the CIA that Russia hacked emails of the Democrats in an effort to help President-elect Donald Trump.

McCain calls were rejected in the Senate, majority leader Mitch Macconell and the speaker of the house of representatives Paul Ryan. "This is serious business. If they are able to harm the electoral process, they can destroy democracy based on free and fair elections," McCain said. McCain has increased the pressure on McConnell on Sunday, sending a letter to the majority leader to allow a select Senate Committee to investigate the Russian hacking.

In an interview, McCain talked about the Russian hacking and also about the seizure of China underwater drone of the US and the massacre of the Syrian government citizens of Aleppo. "We need a special Committee. We need to get to the truth. We must find out what has been done and what are the consequences, especially if they had an impact on our elections," McCain said.

"There is no doubt that they intervened and no doubt this was a cyber attack. The question now is, what caused the damage and that the United States should do? Still, we were completely paralyzed," he said.
