In Syria, government forces took full control of the city of Darayya, the largest suburb of Damascus. The extremists have held sway there for several years, constantly threatening the capital. Now, thanks to the efforts, including the Russian center for reconciliation, thousands of people have agreed to lay down their arms and return to civilian life.

The suburbs of Damascus, fighters prepared as the main fortpost for an attack on Syria. Journalists were the first to visit the town of Darayya. The city is completely destroyed.
