In Jerusalem the truck crashed into a crowd of people The driver who sent the truck into a group of soldiers in Jerusalem, killing four people and wounding at least 10, perhaps, was the terrorist of ISIS, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israeli police shot and killed the suspect, whom they identified as 28-year-old Fadi al-Kambara. The police also arrested nine other suspects, including five members of the family of al-Kambara. Speaking from the scene of the attack, on the waterfront overlooking the Old city wall of Jerusalem, Netanyahu said that authorities have identified the terrorists and "all the signs that he is a supporter of the terrorist organization ISIS". "We know that there exists a sequence of terrorist attacks, and it is quite possible that there is a connection between them, from France, Berlin and now of Jerusalem," Netanyahu said.

Israel will now consider the use of administrative detention against suspected accomplices of ISIS and supporters, according to officials familiar with the decision. Earlier, a spokesman for the Israeli police Mickey Rosenfeld said "There is a potential active members of Islamic state here in Israel." Netanyahu said that the police had cordoned off a predominantly Arab neighborhood in East Jerusalem. Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, the terrorist group Hamas praised the attacker on Twitter. The goal of Hamas is to create an Islamic fundamentalist Palestinian state, and they insist that Israel is an occupying power and it must be destroyed.

During the attack killed three of the four employees were women. The Israel defense forces said three of the dead were students and one was an officer. All the murdered victims were aged 20 years. "The group got off the bus and stood with the bags when the terrorist took the opportunity and ran into a group of people on the truck," said Rosenfeld. "Then he drove off and tried to RAM them again, until he was killed by the shots."

Netanyahu has placed the photographs of the four dead soldiers on Facebook with the message:. "I mourn the loss of four of our soldiers who were killed today in a suicide attack in Jerusalem. In the name of all the people of Israel, I offer my condolences to their families." Several other officers and cadets were injured and were evacuated to hospital for medical treatment.
