Kanye West was not invited to the inauguration of the trump Tom barrack, a longtime friend of President-elect Donald trump and Chairman of his presidential inaugural Committee, said that the team did not ask rapper Kanye West to perform at the inauguration - despite the fact that there was a high profile meeting with trump last month.

"We didn't ask him," he said on "OutFront." "He considers himself a friend of the elected President, but this is not the place. Place for such as he, it's fun, it's beautiful and Kanye is a great guy, but we go on with our agenda."

Last month sources told CNN that the transition team is trying their best to book big names for the inauguration. Boris Epstein, the representative of the inaugural Committee also noted the lack of movie stars appearing at the ceremony. "This is not Woodstock," said Epstein. This is not a concert." The Committee has since received a yellow card. At the ceremony were invited to Toby Keith, The Rockettes, the Mormon tabernacle choir and Jackie Ivanko, to perform the inauguration ceremony.

Tom barrack said he was "disappointed" that more than two dozen lawmakers, Democrats boycotted the inauguration of the trump. "Of course I'm disappointed, because I think adults need to play well in the sandbox," he said. "This is the President of the United States. This is not a joke. This is not a political event. It is a tribute to America. I think all of them need to grow up. Come out and support the President.

He added: "on the other hand, I love it, because only in America you could only do it in America a group of congressmen can say," I'm not going to go because I don't like your politics."
