The President of the Russian Federation suggested lawmakers consider a new bill that increases the transparency of the regional authorities to the voters. In the state Duma Vladimir Putin has made the suggestion that not only the governors reported on their income, but also temporarily performing those duties also must disclose information about their income, but also possessed of property.

This information, along with other similar, will be published on official government websites and made available upon request to the Federal Newspapers, magazines, journals for publications in their pages.

In the explanatory Memorandum to the bill notes that this initiative does not require additional funding.
