New Indian blockbuster movie banned in Pakistan New Indian blockbuster has been banned in Pakistan on suspicion of perverting the faith of Muslims. Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, himself a Muslim, and has millions of fans all over the world.

But his new film "Raees" is the story of real life of a bootlegger, Raisa Aslam, a native of Gujarat. The film was released on Sunday - was banned due to its "inadequate image of Muslims," according to the Central Censor Board of Pakistan. The Board also said that the film "showed the true face of Islam" and focused on "the sect of Muslims."

The decision to ban the film, which is based on real events in Gujarat in 1980-ies and 1990-ies, was suddenly infected with cinema-goers, as well as the cast and crew. Speaking on CNN, analyst and broadcaster, Komal Nahta, said that the ban of the film occurred due to hypersensitivity. "Pakistan is known for the fact that the sensitivity relates to their faith. This is based on a true story, so you can't change the facts in accordance with a particular nation," said Nahta.

This is not the first time politics influenced 2 countries and collapsed on the film industry. In December 2016, the owners of cinemas in Pakistan have canceled a three-month voluntary moratorium on all screening of bollywood films .

This step was taken amid a wave of cross-border violence between India and Pakistan in September 2016, and the Association of Indian motion picture decided not to work with the Pakistani talent during the same months.
