The U.S. intelligence community and the defense Department is increasingly expected that North Korea will soon hold a new round of tests of its missile and nuclear programs, according to a dozen American officials.

Officials are closely monitoring the programmes of the regime, and North Korea are rising intelligence levels and related activities. The main source of this intelligence is the U.S. spy satellites that examine the mode at the top, so little opportunity to fully understand what can make the leader Kim Jong-UN.

At the same time, American officials said that North Korea is taking new steps to conceal their activities, knowing that the satellites see from above. In an unusually detailed public acknowledgement of what may happen, General Joseph Dunford, the Chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, issued a statement after he spoke with his South Korean counterpart General sun Jin Lee on Tuesday. Dunford said the two "have assessed the changes in nuclear and missile threat of North Korea", but then continued to say that the two "discussed options of response."

In a statement, Dunford also said that the two "acknowledged the possibility that North Korea may carry out provocative actions" during the ongoing military exercises United States-South Korea, or during the upcoming celebrations in North Korea.

According to recent reports, us officials told CNN that North Korea moved some equipment to the launch associated with the launch of an Intercontinental ballistic missile.
