He won 4th place for the last 2 years, Norway jumped on the 3-position and ousted three-time winner of Denmark for the first time to win the title of "happiest country of the world."

This year, Denmark dropped to 2nd place, followed by Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand and Australia and Sweden (which took the 9th place), according to the latest world report on happiness. Denmark won the title 3 out of 4 times, when it was released report, while Switzerland won the title only 1 time.

Real gross domestic product per capita is one of the key indicators, the report says. The report's authors argue that some of them - generosity, healthy life expectancy, the ability to count on someone, the freedom of choice of life and freedom from corruption.
