At midnight Ukraine stopped the flow of electricity in LC. The lights went out everywhere: on the streets, in homes and even in hospitals, but not for long.

To avoid the blockade failed thanks to the help of DNR and Russia. Involved the same allocation scheme as in 2014. Only then the supply of electricity from Ukraine to the LC became impossible because of damage to the networks, and now, at the behest of the Kiev authorities.

Tonight at midnight the LC were cut off from power grid of Ukraine. About plans of Kiev, the Republic's authorities knew in advance and had time to prepare. An hour later after disconnecting the power companies managed to restore electricity to most parts of the districts of Lugansk. Partly short time and was only de-energized Alchevsk and Perevalsk.

Last week the General Director of the Ukrainian enterprise "Luhansk energy Association" Vladimir Gritsay said that the decision of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine LAO from 00.00 hours on April 25 will cease supply of electricity in LC. In the Republic knew about it and were able to take measures, employing backup power sources. Infrastructure, businesses and social facilities is provided with electricity.
