The highly efficient drug against tuberculosis has been developed by scientists of the biotechnology centre of Russian Academy of Sciences. It is based on unique molecules that destroy dangerous cells.

Scientists at the research center of biotechnology do not like big words. His discovery is considered as a matter of course. The laboratory staff ran made a real revolution in the fight against a deadly disease. Substance synthesized in Russia. The medication not yet international names, but is already in stage 2 clinical trials.

The causative agent - the tubercle Bacillus - multiplies rapidly. Immediately after drug administration, the bacteria first, ceases to share, and then beginning to burst. Most importantly, the substance kills all kinds of pathogens. Existing drugs against tuberculosis were invented about 50 years ago, and harmful bacteria in most cases have immunity to them.

Behind this triumph is worth 10 years of Titanic work. The bulk of the work fell on the shoulders of young postgraduates and candidates of Sciences. The Moscow laboratory is part of a global European project for the creation of the cure for tuberculosis of the new generation. Scientists from 13 countries of the Old world worked on this invention. But the first successfully synthesized the finished product in Russia.
