Italy opened an exhibition of Russian art In Italy at the famous exhibition of modern art opened the Russian pavilion. Several artists exhibited their work in a historic building, which was constructed in tsarist times. About terrorism, fear and the betrayal of the artists told lovers through smartphones and unusual installations.

A fresh breeze from the lagoon, the sun of Venice and the famous gardens Jardin, which these days are particularly attracted by art historians, gallerists, artists and people who want to be in trend. The platanovaya Avenue speak all languages, getting there is not easy, you need to have an invitation or to have 250 Euro for the ticket. The Russian pavilion, built by the great Susewm, carries letters Theatrum Orbis is the name of this exhibition, referring to the cartographer who created the first Atlas of the world.

The pavilion emits mysterious sounds inside beckons as a medieval theatre and affects everyone without exception. The rector of the St. Petersburg Academy of arts Semyon Mikhailovsky is not the first Commissioner of the Russian pavilion and curator of the exhibition. This year he was determined to present exclusively young and the restless. But I saw a project on which he worked in his Studio Grisha Bruskin and the first invited him. Then to the "heavyweight" in modern art joined the youth. Sasha Pirogova with his art group "Recycle", Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov.

Grisha Bruskin former in Soviet times, non-conformist, in 1988, became a celebrity after Sotheby's sold for incredible amount of his work. On the current project, he worked for 3 years, the music, or rather, the noise and wrote specifically in his order. Gregory is not only an artist but also a writer, a philosopher, a deep understanding of the problems of the crowd, the little man and the government. Or, as in the current project "change of scenery" - the problem of terrorism, fear. Video on the wall, the dimly lit room, strange sounds. Not even a trained viewer would be shocked. Through the stairs funnel you need to go down to the 1st floor. There is something infernal, but it was one of the objectives of "Recycle". They represent the 9th circle of hell. It's like pieces of ice, in which are embedded fragments of human bodies.

Children of the 90s who grew up on toys in the form of "Tetris", Andrew and George offer viewers a game app for the gadget, and then the fragments turn into a human. Four different artist is always the risk that won't mend. One is going to bother to take more. Mastodon will crush the young. But in the Russian pavilion with the project Theatrum Orbis this did not happen.
