Earlier this month, the U.S. air force deployed B-52 bombers and 800 pilots in the United Kingdom in support of joint exercises with allies and NATO partners that occur across Europe. In a statement the Ministry of defense of Russia in the TASS report also said that the Russian MiG-31 intercepted the Norwegian aircraft P-3C Orion on Tuesday in international waters over the Barents sea.
