Half the growth in world population will occur in Africa According to the UN report, Nigeria will overtake the US to become the third populous country in the world by 2050.

According to the forecast World Population Prospects 2017, currently 7 populous country in the world, the West African nation, according to forecasts, will exceed 300 million people by 2050.
