Tragedy on the "Hillsborough": named 6 suspects The British prosecution service confirmed that the criminal offences in connection with the crash in "Hillsborough" in 1989, which killed 96 supporters of football club "Liverpool" guilty of 6 people.

A former senior police officer David Dakenfild faced murder charges. The decision, which came 28 years after the tragedy follows last year's investigation, which established that the victims were unlawfully killed.

Named 6 suspects:

David Dakenfild, who was the commander of the matches of the South Yorkshire police the day of the disaster.

- Graham Henry Mackrell, who was the Secretary of the company on football in Sheffield and safety officer during the disaster in 1989.

- Peter Metcalf, a lawyer acting in the South Yorkshire police during the investigation and first remand hearings.

A former chief superintendent Donald Denton from the South Yorkshire police.
