Died the writer and Director of cult horror movie "night of the living dead" George A. Romero. He died on Sunday. He was 77 years old.

Romero called the "father of modern horror films". He died after a "brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer," said his longtime production partner Peter Grunwald.
