UK sent two aircraft carrier in the South China sea UK entered into a tense territorial dispute in the South China sea. Speaking on Thursday in Australia, the Minister for foreign Affairs of great Britain, Boris Johnson said: "One of the first things we will do with two colossal new aircraft carriers, which we just built, send them to the freedom of navigation in the area".

Johnson did not specify which will be sent to the carriers, but added that the operation was designed to "reaffirm our faith in the international system based on rules, and the freedom of navigation on those waterways which are absolutely necessary for global Commerce".

In an interview with Reuters, the British defense Secretary Michael Fallon said that the deployment was not completed, "but China will not be able to keep crossing the South China sea".

Speaking at the event in Sydney on Thursday night, Johnson called on all parties in the South China sea to "respect the freedom of navigation and international law" and suggested that Britain send ships through the Strait of Malacca which connects the Indian ocean with the South China sea.

China claims nearly the entire South China sea, it is strongly voiceserver some Islands in the region and expanded to other areas with major land reclamation works, making sandbanks the Islands airfields, ports and weapons systems. The announcement of Johnson, likely to cause disturbance of Beijing, which has accused the United States of creating "a serious political and military provocation" by undertaking the same freedom of navigation operations.

Neither Britain nor the United States recognize the territorial claims of Beijing, which last year was rejected by the international Tribunal and the ships had to pass through the waters around the Islands, occupied by China.
