Trump signed the bill on new sanctions against Russia President Donald trump has signed a law passed on Wednesday morning, which introduces new sanctions against Russia and restricts the ability of trump to ease the sanctions against Moscow.

The bill is one of the first important pieces of legislation that have been sent to the Desk of trump, and it represents the pressure on the President by giving Congress new powers of veto that it has not weakened the Russian sanctions.

The white house announced the signing shortly after 11 a.m. Eastern time, saying that the bill contains "a number of clearly unconstitutional provisions," which "presuppose the exception of the constitutional power of the President to recognize foreign governments, including their territorial boundaries."
