The couple have been married for three-and-a-half years, and have 20-month-old daughter Sunday Rose together. They spend a lot of him apart due to Nicole`s acting career and Keith`s music, and so have come up with novel ways to keep the romance alive.

"She usually leaves notes for him in his pockets, music equipment and even in his underwear," a source explained.

The pair enjoy nothing better than to pour out their feelings in letters and poems, which they hide all over the house. Some are long while others are just hastily scribbled jottings, but both keep every one they find as a symbol of their love.

"Keith has left notes for Nicole under the pillow and in the shower, but the most unique time was when he wrote `I love you` on the skin of an orange in the fridge," the source added to National Enquirer magazine.
