The music mogul proposed to his make-up artist lover Mezhgan Hussainy last month. The pair are keen to tie the knot as soon as possible, and Simon has enlisted his close friend and ex-girlfriend Sinitta to help plan the big day.

Sinitta is delighted to be involved, and has vowed to make the nuptials as lavish as possible. "What Simon wants, Simon gets. The theme of the wedding is Miracles Do Happen - Simon getting married just goes to prove it," she explained to British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "I can`t believe the big man is actually doing it, but I am convinced he`s going to, even though it`s going against everything he has ever said. It?s beautiful, it really is. It will be a pretty surreal do Salvador Dali-inspired. There`ll be angels and all sorts everywhere. It will be amazing."

Sinitta is delighted the wedding will be themed around the surreal Spanish painter as it has given her lots of ideas on how to decorate the venue.

He is famed for his unusual paintings of melting clocks, so the singer is hoping to have warped timepieces scattered around the location. Candles carved to look like angels and demons will be everywhere, which Sinitta explained are a nod to the two sides to Simon`s personality. He is famed for the caustic comments he makes on the TV talent shows he judges, but is also kind and considerate to friends.

Waiters will be sporting oriental clothes, as Dali often did.

Simon and Mezhgan are yet to find the perfect venue, although it has been reported the nuptials will take place in the UK in early September.
