The US state Department has expressed deep concern over a Russian fighter intercept American spy plane over the Black sea and tried to convince Moscow to halt such action in order to avoid dangerous incidents and collisions.

before the Ministry of defence of Russia has informed that the electronic reconnaissance aircraft EP-3E Aries II the U.S. Navy was intercepted by su-27 over the neutral waters of the Black sea. The crew of a Russian fighter reported about the identification of American aircraft and was accompanied by him with observance of all necessary precautions, not allowing to violate the airspace of Russia.
