The 47-year-old actor is often voted one of the funniest men in Hollywood, but is far more modest when asked what his best feature is. Instead of drawing attention to his movie star friends or sizeable bank balance, Steve claims the best things about him are his "fantastic" ears.

"I would say my ears are my most attractive quality," he said. "They are fairly fantastic. They?re perfectly shaped and they?re symmetrical and they work - they totally work."

Steve stars opposite comedienne Tina Fey in new comedy Date Night. He admits his own strategy for picking up women is slightly unorthodox, and includes repeatedly telling prospective partners how good-looking he is.

Asked what he would tell a woman on a first date, Steve told Empire magazine: "I would like you to know that I am very attractive. I may not appear to be, but in fact, I am. I figure the more I tell someone that, the more inclined they are to believe it."
