Special envoy of the US state Department in Ukraine Kurt Volker has announced the introduction of penalties for the visit to Crimea, reports UKRINFORM.

Walker said the problem with the Crimea "identical" situation with the Donbas, and the only difference, according to his statement, is " the lack of periodic fighting."

He noticed that Washington is obliged to strengthen measures against Russia over the Peninsula.
