In the state Duma introduced a draft law on responsibility under the criminal code for the observance in Russia, Western sanctions, appears from the electronic database of the lower house of Parliament.

The document envisages punishment in the form of punishment for the term up to 4 years or a fine of up to six hundred thousand Rubles.

Russian citizens that contribute to the introduction of restrictive measures, it is planned to deprive of liberty for a term up to three years and fine amounting to five hundred thousand Rubles..

The authors of the proposal were the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, head of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, the leaders of the parliamentary factions, the 1st Deputy speaker from the Communist party Ivan Melnikov, 1st Vice-speaker from United Russia Alexander Zhukov, and the 1st Deputy head of the faction "United Russia" Andrei Isayev.
