The singer recently rekindled her romance with Matthew Williams, who she had previously dated for around a year. They split as Matthew found her fame difficult to deal with, but got back together in February as they realised they couldn`t bear to be apart.

Gaga - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - has been touring since March, but has found time to speak to and text Matthew several times a day. She is said to be finding the long distance romance increasingly hard to deal with, especially as Matthew is already talking about marriage.

"The problem is he wants her to settle down, while she wants to keep making music, touring and meeting new people. It`s very hard for her to do both," a source explained. "She loves the randomness of a different city every night and meeting new and exciting people.

"A lot of girls want to get married but it`s the other way round with Gaga and Matthew. He wants her to have some time away from being Gaga, but she isn?t sure. He`s also really keen to start a family with her."

Although Gaga is not ready to walk down the aisle, she is hoping to show her commitment to Matthew by moving in with him. She recently bought a new home in the Hollywood Hills, and is hoping he will share it with her when the decorating is finished.

"Gaga has always lived out of a suitcase, so she`s been quite enjoying playing house with Matthew," the source told Look magazine. "She didn`t bother with an interior designer because she knows that both she and Matthew are so creative and have great style. She`s transformed the apartment into an over-the-top Hollywood Regency-style place."
