Judge Marsha Revel found Lindsay in breach of her probation after the alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet she has to wear went off on Sunday night. Lindsay has to wear the device in relation to her 2007 conviction for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). She has also been banned from drinking alcohol, after she failed to show up to a probation progress hearing last month

The SCRAM bracelet was allegedly triggered at the MTV Movie Awards, although reports a light began flashing are untrue. Officials who monitor the bracelet get notified of any violation via a data download.

"As for what triggered the download, we`re told it could be a positive alcohol reading or a cut strap. SCRAM would also receive a download if Lindsay didn`t get home at a prescribed time... when she needs to be near the base station," reports gossip website TMZ.

A report was generated, which was sent to Judge Revel, who has been presiding over Lindsay?s probation. The judge then called a meeting with Lindsay`s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley and Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers to discuss the findings. That took place at 3pm yesterday at the Beverly Hills Court House.

What happened at the meeting has not been revealed, but the judge issued a bench warrant for Lindsay`s arrest, and a $200, 000 bond was paid to ensure she didn`t have to go to prison.

"This morning Judge Revel was advised by a SCRAM representative that Ms. Lohan`s court-ordered alcohol bracelet had indicated the presence of a small amount of alcohol on Sunday night. Having just received the report, I am not in a position to speak to its accuracy or validity, however Ms. Lohan maintains that she has been in complete compliance with all of the terms of her probation and her bail," Shawn told X17 Online. "Bail has again been posted in Ms. Lohan`s case and she will continue to comply with all of Judge Revel`s orders."

Lindsay has denied drinking alcohol, writing on Twitter: "My scram wasn`t set off-Its physically impossible considering I`ve nothing for it to go off-All of these false resports are absolutely wrong.

"poeple just won`t leave me be though and accept i`m happy and well. i did not violate anything .. at all. i`ve literally done everything the court`s asked of me to do&anything extra i can do to end this drama (sic)."

Lindsay was due to appear in court last month, but lost her passport while at the Cannes Film Festival so could not get back to America on time. Judge Revel issued a bench warrant for her arrest, saying she thought the 23-year-old could have made it back if she`d really wanted to.

Bail - set at $100, 000 - was posted, and Lindsay was ordered to abstain from alcohol, wear the SCRAM bracelet and submit to weekly random drug tests as the conditions of it.

She faces time in jail if she is found to have violated the terms of bail.
