Cameron Diaz was shocked when Tom Cruise`s four-year-old daughter askedif she could have her dress.

Suri, Tom`s daughter with his actress wife Katie Holmes, was on the set of Cameron and Tom`s new movie Knight and Day when she made the request.

The action comedy sees the first pairing of Cameron and Tom since they starred together in the 2001 movie Vanilla Sky.

Suri is famed for her grown-up wardrobe and is often photographed wearing outfits many adult stars would be jealous of.

Cameron was flattered to hear that Suri appreciated her outfit but was stunned when the mini fashionista demanded to be given it. The actress admits she told Suri she should ask her mother to buy her one.

"She really took a liking to my dress," Cameron is quoted as saying."She came over to me and said, `I like your dress.` I thanked her then she said, `I want your dress.` I was like, `Well honey I`m sure mommy can get you one. If only we were the same size!`"
