Piers Morgan married in a secret ceremony yesterday.

The talent show host wed his journalist partner Celia Walden at a church in the village of Swinbrook in Oxfordshire. No celebrities were present at the nuptials, although a select group of friends and family were invited.

Celia wore a white dress and hand-crafted daisy headband for her big day, while Piers opted for a simple grey suit. He spent much of the day beaming, with the pair giggling as they were driven away from the church in a glimmering Rolls Royce. The couple`s reception was held at a nearby pub.

"He couldn`t stop smiling and was hugging and kissing all the guests. Celia looked beautiful in her dress," an onlooker said. "She had a daisy chain as a headband and a bouquet of wild flowers, which were simple but classy. Piers looked exactly as he does on TV."

Piers had previously said he wanted the wedding to be a simple, classy affair. He admitted Simon Cowell, who he appears on talent contest Britain`s Got Talent with, wouldn`t be attending, joking he didn`t know if the music mogul would be able to turn up on time.

Simon was not bitter about being left off the guest list, and sent the happy couple his congratulations. "I hate to admit it but I?m absolutely thrilled for the two of them. Having met Celia, I have no idea how he managed to pull this one off," he told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
