The `I Can` rapper has fallen behind on payments and will now have to shell out double what he was originally ordered to pay to make up for the money owed.

Nas - real name Nasir Jones - is in $300,000 debt to the `Milkshake` star and it is believed that $52,989.22 of the outstanding monies relates to the mortgage.

He will now have to pay $14,229.61 a month until he brings the arrears up-to-date.

The new payment plan was agreed in Los Angeles County Court on 23.06.10. The papers also showed plans for Nas to sell the property.

The couple legally split last month, although they called time on their marriage in April 2009 while Kelis was pregnant with their child, Knight.

The `Acapella` singer cited irreconcilable differences for the reason behind their divorce, although no exact reason for the split has ever been given.
