Sarah Harding admits to being "clingy" in relationships.

The Girls Aloud star has been dating DJ Tom Crane for three years, and says the relationship works because they give one another freedom. However, the star admits things were very different at the start of their romance.

"At the beginning of a relationship I?m clingy but after six months it changes. I like my independence", she explained in an interview with Look magazine.

Tom recently revealed he was planning to propose to Sarah later this year, but the blonde beauty is down-playing the marriage rumours. She inists they are happy as they are, and won?t be tying the knot soon.

"If he was to pop the question then I don`t think I`d say no, but I?m not sure we`re there yet. We`ve both got our heads in work," she said.

The singer is on a hiatus from Girls Aloud, and the members of the pop band are focusing on their solo careers. Last year Sarah starred in movie St Trinian`s II: The Legend of Fritton`s Gold, alongside Rupert Everett. The 28-year-old aspiring actress is now hoping to do more acting. "I?m really career-focussed at the moment so I want to tick all my other boxes first", Sarah explained.
