Jennifer Love Hewitt says she "laughed a lot" while shooting a television movie about prostitution.

The 31-year-old actress takes on a risqué role in The Client List, where she stars as a former Texas homecoming queen who becomes a prostitute after losing her job.

Jennifer revealed the role involved shooting some rather unsavoury scenes and joked that when she phoned her best friend after a day`s filming, she would recount her raunchy adventures.

Jennifer`s girlfriend was shocked by the star`s revelations, and laughed that her day working in an office environment had been far less exciting.

"We laughed about it a lot, my best friend and I," said Jennifer in an interview with USA Today.

"She would tell me about meetings at her office, and I would say, `Well, I`m going to massage four guys in a room and handcuff another one.? "

The star`s best friend wasn`t the only one who was shocked by her on-screen antics. Jennifer admitted she sent some pictures of herself in skimpy costumes on set to her mother, who was left red-faced. Jennifer also revealed she shot sex scenes with as many as eight men on one especially intense day of filming.

"I would go into hair and make-up, come out in some sort of scantily clad outfit, do my scene with a guy, then go change and do another scene with another guy. I think there were like eight guys that day. I was sending pictures to my mom, and she was like `Oh, my gosh!`" laughed Jennifer.
