Orlando Bloom has reportedly told hotel staff his wife Miranda Kerr is pregnant.

The couple got engaged in June, and last week it was revealed they had married in a secret ceremony believed to be in Los Angeles. Miranda confirmed the news after pulling out of a work commitment, explaining she was going on honeymoon with Orlando.

The pair were holidaying on the Caribbean island of Anguilla, and it has been claimed Orlando, 33, confirmed his wife is expecting. There has been constant speculation Miranda might be pregnant since the wedding, as the couple had such a short engagement.

"He kept apologising for Miranda being grumpy," a hotel staff member explained. "He said she wasn`t well as she was pregnant. They looked very much in love."

No further details of the discussion have been released.

Yesterday, a separate report alleged the pair are expecting a new arrival. Miranda, 27, has apparently already broken the news to her family and some of her friends, because she knows she won`t be able to hide it for long - she models Victoria`s Secret lingerie.

"She`s definitely pregnant... Miranda`s thrilled," a friend told Us Weekly magazine. "She`s telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it."
