NEWLY-released jailbird LINDSAY LOHAN looks a lot better here than in her police mugshot.

The actress is shown modelling new pieces from her clothing line 6126.

Lohan is fascinated with MARILYN MONROE and 6126 represents the movie icon`s date of birth - June 1, 1926.

Lilo`s kinky, thigh-high boots look more like they`re for a naughty adult movie.

But seeing as she`s due to play porn star LINDA LOVELACE in a new biopic, they`re pretty apt.

It`s a good job she wasn`t in this gear when she was thrown in jail. She wouldn`t have got those boots past the guards.

Recent reports suggested Lindsay had been axed from Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, a biopic based on the X-rated antics of the titular porn legend.

However, the film`s producer CHRIS HANLEY has staunchly dismissed the rumours after Lindsay`s mum DINA called him in a panic.

He said: "Lindsay`s mother Dina Lohan called the director yesterday concerned that there was some truth to the statements.

"These stories are completely unfounded and untrue: the producers have been, and continue to be committed to Lindsay in this lead role and are confident that there is no actress that can achieve the dramatic level we require of this role other than Lindsay."

Director MATTHEW WILDER chipped in: "The creative team behind (the film) wishes to express our renewed support for Lindsay Lohan.

"There is no actor more ideally suited to this role than Lindsay, and we are content to start production after she finishes what the court mandated."

Or better put, there aren`t many actresses prepared to strip starkers for a porn biopic...
