The singer - who has two children, Sonny, six, and 21-month-old Kit, with husband Richard Jones - never worries about overindulging over the festive season because she knows she will be taking it much easier the following month.

She said: "Relax and enjoy yourself. January`s for abstaining and December is a time for fun."

The 31-year-old star has several parties to choose from to celebrate New Year`s Eve (31.12.10) and is planning to fit in as many as she possibly can.

She explained: "I`ve been invited to three `Mad Men`-themed parties. I`ll try to get along to a couple and drink a lot of mulled wine."

Sophie has also revealed she is keen to have more children with The Feeling bassist Richard she doesn`t plan to make 2011 the year she expands her family further.

She said: "I do want more kids, but not yet. Our youngest is only one so I want to give him a bit more time being a baby."
