Mitrofanov about "Adamov case": Russia disgraced Delegates of Government Duma didn`t support a suggestion to invite the head of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Sergey Lavrov on parliament session in view of "Adamov case".

This suggestion was supported by 108 delegates against 12 but still didn?t collect necessary 226 votes.

In opinion of LDPR fraction delegate Alexey Mitrophanov, a "work (Adamov return) ended up with Russian disgrace". He considers this work as a slap in Russia?s face.

By Mitrophanov words, when Adamov was arrested in Switzerland, Government Duma received assurance from MFA that "delicate work" on his return is going on. "We were even asked not to interfere in this topic", -he said.

Mitrophanov reminded that Adamov knew lots of secrets including political. "He was of great interest to western special services", - he added.

Swiss Federal Administration of Justice declared on Monday about its decision to extradite Adamov to USA preferring American and not Russian inquiry of extradition.

Adamov was the head of Russian Atom Ministry during 1998-2001 and was arrested on May 2 of current year in Bern on demand of USA Justice Ministry. American powers accuse him of 9 millions of dollars appropriation which were given to Russia on security of nuclear objects. The punishment in USA is 60 years of jail and fee of 1.75 millions of dollars. Russian general law machinery also has brought action against Adamov accusing him in swindling and exceeding official authorities. Both countries demanded Adamov extradition.
