The `Careless Whisper` singer revealed last week he had split from partner Kenny Goss more than two years ago and has now admitted he is still struggling to get over the separation but is grateful to be back on the road as performing is helping him through the difficulties.

He tweeted: " I pray he [Kenny] is searching for peace of mind as hard as I am. In the meantime I have a huge family of friends in the people I sing for. Thanks x

"Music, the great healer. More fun than time too. :) Time just means waiting to heal, music reminds you right now that there`s a good f**king reason to, that one day you will wake up and count your blessings again... :)

"Trust me, it works... Music does the trick :) (sic)"

George also admitted he still loves Kenny and regrets the "great pain" he, the Texan businessman and their friends and family have gone through as a result of the demise of their relationship.

Referring to an appearance he made on UK TV show `The Wright Stuff` earlier this year to blast reports he and Kenny had split, the singer also tweeted: "For the few of you that might care, I don`t lie to you ever. When I called Wrights Show in March I told him 3 things. That Kenny had not left me, that he had never threatened to, and that i still loved him. All of those three things remain true. Love is not always enough when the past isn`t finished with us. Kenny and I have learnt that the hard way, and it put us both and unfortunately others, especially our loved ones, through great pain.(sic)"
