Rihanna launches lawsuit over leaks RACY Rihanna has launched a lawsuit after leaks at her Hollywood home left her needing an Umbrella when indoors.

The star, who claims her Californian hillside pad is uninhabitable, is suing a string of companies who designed and inspected it before she snapped it up for £4.25m in 2009.

The S&M singer`s lawsuit states she would never have bought the home if she had been made aware of the problems in advance.

She claims water leaked into several rooms of the house from a balcony that lacks the proper slope and drainage after a rainstorm in early 2010. The suit states the damage left the home "uninhabitable".

Landmark Design Group, which remodelled the home, has failed to make necessary repairs, she says.

Landmark could not be reached for comment and Prudential spokeswoman Wendy Durand said the company did not comment on pending lawsuits.

The songbird, who famously topped the charts in 2007 with Umbrella, recently triumphed at the V Festival in Essex and Stafford.

Following her well-received appearances she sped off on holiday.

She first headed to Saint Tropez with pals and then went to the millionaire`s playground of Portofino in Italy.
