The `Avatar` actress and the entrepreneur have called time on their relationship after 11 years, but they will continue to work together on their joint business venture, fashion website My Fashion Date Base.

In a statement, the 33-year-old beauty`s representative said the pair - who revealed their engagement in June 2010 - "have amicably separated after 11 years".

It continued: "Saldana and Britton remain committed business partners as co-founders of fashion resource MyFDB.com. Respect of their privacy is appreciated during this time."

Zoe is yet to make a statement regarding the split, but she took to her twitter account to post a cryptic message.

She tweeted: "`You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.` - Buddha."

The brunette stunner has previously declared her love for the 35-year-old businessman, pointing out one of his qualities to be his "very independent soul".

She said: "I feel like the partners that stay at home, they have their lives, but they`re the ones that are living with the real you.

"I think that they need to be recognised, every now and then, every 10 years, just come out in public - put him on the spot and just say thank you.

"He`s a very independent soul. He understands what I do, but this is not what he fell in love with and that`s what I love."
