The singer opened the New York Coffee Club in East Grinstead, West Sussex, in the South of England, last week and he has been shocked by how successful it has been so far.

Just as the customers love it, so do Peter`s children - son Junior, six, daughter Princess Tiaamii, four, and stepson Harvey, nine - with ex-wife Katie Price.

Writing in his new! magazine column, he said: "It`s been hectic lately and the coffee shop has slightly taken over my life. Luckily, the kids love it there so they don?t mind too much. Princess is obsessed with the kids` play area and spends all her time in there drawing and colouring."

Peter - who was at the official launch last Wednesday (09.11.11) - admits the shop struggled to cope with demand when it opened its doors and the store even sold out of its signature cupcakes.

He added: "Although the official launch was last Wednesday, the shop actually started serving last Monday (07.11.11). As soon as we opened for business, it was totally rammed and, at one point, it was so busy I thought we might have to close it! We sold out of cupcakes within a couple of hours and also ran out of hot chocolate, so sorry to anyone who wanted either of those things. It won`t happen again!

"I thought it might be busy but I had no idea how busy. Everyone seems to love the fact that we have films playing on a screen so you can watch them while you?re having a coffee!
