Melissa Rivers has got together with Steven Hirsch, the founder and co-chairman of the adult entertainment company Vivid Entertainment, and her comedienne mother insists its great because she now gets discount on the company`s X-rated products.

Joan told TMZ.com: "First of all, he came he saw my daughter, and that was it - he`s crazy about her. He makes a great living and he`s Jewish and a businessman, and I`m 78 years old and now I get a discount on lubricant."

Joan insists she has no problem with Steven`s company - which has released several celebrity sex tapes, including `Kim Kardashian Superstar`, `Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee: Hardcore & Uncensored` and `Kendra Exposed`, which features Kendra Wilkinson - and other people shouldn`t be outraged by it.

She added: "He`s a businessman - for all these people who say stay away from porn - let`s look on their computers? He`s crazy about her, as he should be."

When asked how Melissa and Steven, 50, met, Joan joked: "Well, I went to auditions ? no, a friend fixed them up.

"A friend said to Melissa literally, this man has seen you and he knows you just broke up with this guy and he`s a businessman and he`d love to meet you. He`s smart and Melissa took a chance and that was it."

During his time in the porn business Steven has been executive producer of produced films including `Other Men`s Wives ` and `The Price of Desire` and starred in documentary TV series `Vivid Valley`.
