The `Girl Gone Wild` hitmaker - who locked lips with the blonde singer on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003 - took to social networking site twitter to ask if she would be interested in recreating the iconic moment again.

She wrote: "@britneyspears please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!(sic)"

Responding, Britney wrote: "@MadonnaMDNAday Tempting...(sic)" to which Madonna answered: "Are you gonna make me work for this?"

However, Britney was not the only pop star Madonna enjoyed a twitter interaction with.

She also asked Katy Perry if she would come and see her when she tours her new album `MDNA`.

She wrote: "I wanna see you in the front row somewhere this year. okay?(sic)"

She also indicated she would like to host `Saturday Night Live` so she could do a comedy sketch with Kristin Wiig and her 15-year-old daughter Lourdes.

Asked if she would "ever consider hosting Saturday Night Live", she wrote: "FOR SURE. I`m gagging to do it. I`m obsessed with Kristen Wiig and @AndySamberg. I want to do a skit with Kristen and Lola."
