The 49-year-old actress - who separated from husband Ashton Kutcher after six years of marriage in November 2011 - continues to tweet under her married name @mrskutcher and posted a picture of herself lying on a bed with the caption "Testing...."

Demi had previously been a prolific user of twitter, but this is the first time since January 7 she has used the social networking site, when she tweeted Harper`s Bazaar magazine for "supporting" her.

Last month, the `Indecent Proposal` actress left Utah`s Cirque Lodge clinic - where she was receiving treatment for "an eating disorder and addiction issues" - and is said to now be in a "much better place".

A source said at the time: "Demi is in a much better place. She has been working on herself a lot. She is content.

"Demi feels great and she is eager to get back to work. She has been focusing on her health in the last month and she`s getting better every day. Demi wants to work again; she knows that she can handle a few projects so she`s looking forward to that.

"She is totally committed to getting better. Demi has a long way to go, but she is getting better. She has many days where she feels great."
