The 30-year-old singer was rumoured to have reunited with ex-fiance Tom Crane recently, but while she is open to the idea of meeting a man with a sense of humour, she would rather focus on her career right now.

She told LOOK magazine: "I`m playing it by ear. There`s no one I`m interested in at the moment. But if it happens, it happens. I`m open to it. But I`m concentrating on my career for now.

"I always look for a really good sense of humour - I love guys who can make me laugh. I do have a type - I like a bit of stubble, a couple of tattoos - it`s what I`ve always gone for. I`m not really into clean-cut looking guys."

Sarah has been through a lot in the last year, including the end of her relationship with Tom and a stay in rehab, but she admits things are looking up for her.

She added: "Onwards and upwards. Things are looking up."
