Production of vodka and distillery reduced by 6.4% for January-October period comparing with analogous period of last year - till 99.6 millions of decalitres.

As National Alcohol Association informs, the production of strong alcohol drinks amounted to 12 millions decalitres; that is by 1.3 % less than in October 2004.

The production of ethyl alcohol from food raw material reduced by 8.5% (to 55.4 millions decalitres) for 10 months of 2005, in October - by 14.2% (to 6.7 millions decalitres).

The production of wine for January-October 2005 totaled to 25.3 millions decalitres (reduction by 20.9%), in October - 2.4 millions decalitres (reduction by 22.5%).

At the same time the release of champagne and sparkling wine increased by 17.1% for 10 months of current year comparing to analogous period of 2004 and amounted to 19 millions decalitres. The rate of growth were lower in October - 1.5% (to 1.8 millions decalitres).
