Pills from hunger Scientists discovered hormone responsible for hunger.

Hormone called "obestatine" was only tested on laboratory rats. But if expectations are justifies, this discovery can become the base for new remedy for appetite suppression.

Researchers from Stanford University wrote that the same gene extracts 2 opposite in their action hormones. It is known that there is a "greline" hormone in human organism responsible for appetite. It is considered that greline helped primitives to survive: they ate lots of food when there was plenty of it to save fat for lean times. In modern society this mechanism can have negative influence.

Stanford scientists found obstatine which is a relative to greline hormone. The investigations with discovered hormone revealed surprising results. After injection of obstatine rats with normal weight began to eat twice less amount of food and their weight decreased by 20% during 8 days.
