10.5 milliards rubles will be invested in program "Mother`s health" from Social Protection fund next year. 3 milliards rubles will go on clinical examination in antenatal clinic in the basis of 2 thousands rubles per pregnant woman. 7.7 milliards rubles will be given to maternity homes.

When woman register her pregnancy she gets 1 thousands rubles from Social Protection fund instead of 300 as it is now.

From 2006 wages of obstetrician-gynecologist will increase by 10 thousands rubles per month, and wages of obstetricians - by 5 thousands of rubles.

For last 5 years amount of obstetrician-gynecologists in Russia decreased by 2.5 thousands, and amount of obstetricians reduced almost by 5 thousands people.

In 2005 amount of health protection financing increased by 180 milliards rubles comparing with 2004.
