The President of Federation of hockey of Russia (FHR), Vladislav Tretyak has set the national team powers to win gold medals Sochi Olympics, informs "Sports-Express".

"The goal is to win the Olympics," said Tretyak, adding that players may not give rise to blame ourselves in weakness, unavailability mood or contempt of the opponent.

"We have no doubts about and know for sure: any hockey player of the national team will be given fully 100 percent. All professionals and see where they go," said the President FHR during a press conference in the building of the Russian Olympic Committee.

In addition Tretyak asked fans and reporters to be more restrained in feelings when assessing games the national team of Russia during the Olympics. President FHR believes that the estimates should be given on completion of the tournament.

In the press conference also participated the main coach of the Russian national team Zinetula Bilyaletdinov. He said that the captain of the national team of Russia at the Olympics will be Pavel Datsyuk, and explained some of the decisions on the formation of the composition.

The last Olympic victory in the history of Russian hockey dates from 1992. Then competed under Olympic flag team CIS won gold medals of the Games in Albertville. At the last winter Olympics-2010 in Vancouver residents of Russia remained without awards, losing in the quarterfinals to Canadians (3:7).
