The well-known Estonian composer Arvo Pyart celebrated 70th anniversary.

Patriarchy of Moscow and the whole Russia Alexey II awarded Arvo Pyart to an order of Russian Orthodox Church.

In the letter of congratulation the patriarchy thanked the famous composer for "spread of Orthodox ideology in the West", "closeness to church intellectuals".

The Estonian metropolitan Kornily presented the order to the composer.
